What a way to round off National Manufacturing Day 2025! 🎉

Our Managing Director Brian Cutts FCMI is a driving force – not just for Temco Wire Products Ltd but for British manufacturing as a whole. This week he’s been at DowningStreet representing the Best of British and celebrating National Manufacturing Day 2025.

Last night, he joined 70 business leaders and members of MakeUK at a reception hosted by the Chancellor. The Rt. Hon Rachel Reeves MP and Lord Livermore at No. 11 Downing Street – a fantastic recognition of the innovation, skills, and people that power UK manufacturing.

Brian was truly honoured to attend a special reception hosted by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, The Rt. Hon Rachel Reeves MP, at No. 11 Downing Street to celebrate National Manufacturing Day 2025.

The event, organised in partnership with Make UK, brought together leaders from across the UK manufacturing sector to recognise the vital role our industry plays in driving innovation, productivity, and economic growth.

It was a real privilege to be part of a gathering that championed the skills, resilience, and future of British manufacturing. My sincere thanks to the Chancellor and Make UK for their continued support for our sector.

Last Thursday companies across the UK opened their doors to local communities as part of National Manufacturing Day, an annual celebration designed to showcase the breadth of opportunities in one of the nation’s most important sectors.

Schools, colleges and people considering a career change were invited to see first-hand the variety of roles on offer in this diverse and innovative industry. The day catered to all age groups, from younger students making subject choices to school leavers and experienced workers exploring the potential of reskilling for a future in manufacturing.

Thank you to all who opened their doors to the public last week, and helped show off what an amazing sector we work in. National Manufacturing Day is growing every year and is where the diverse sector comes together to celebrate British innovation.
